Cookie Policy
Overview
This page explains what cookies and local storage we use on Aiseenly (aiseenly.com). Aiseenly is a live paid product: you run a free AI-visibility scan, and can subscribe to the paid monthly report. This policy reflects how the site actually behaves today. We use only cookieless analytics (Umami): it sets no cookies and collects no personal data, so it loads on all visits without requiring consent. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts.
1. Preference storage (local storage)
Key: geo_consent (localStorage — not a traditional cookie)
Purpose: Remembers whether you have accepted or declined analytics, so we do not show the consent banner on every visit.
Duration: Permanent until you clear your browser data or click "Change cookie preferences" in the footer.
Who sets it: Aiseenly (first party). This is strictly necessary and is set regardless of your analytics choice.
2. Scan & checkout (strictly necessary)
Purpose: When you run a scan or start checkout, your browser sends the request to our API and to Stripe (the payment processor / merchant of record). Stripe may set strictly-necessary cookies during checkout to process the payment and prevent fraud.
Category: Strictly necessary — required to deliver the service you requested. No consent is needed for these.
Note: See Stripe's cookie/privacy notice for details of cookies set on the Stripe checkout page.
3. Analytics (Umami) — cookieless, no consent required
Provider: Umami Analytics (a-c7f31a.practicalapps.studio)
Purpose: Anonymous, aggregate statistics about page visits (no personal data, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting).
Category: Analytics — cookieless; no consent required under GDPR.
Current status: Umami loads on all visits. It runs in cookieless mode, sets no cookies, and collects no personal data (no IP storage, no cross-site identifiers), so it does not require prior consent.
3b. Pageview embed (Growth-OS) — consent required
Provider: Growth-OS (gos-34a3cd803c.practicalapps.studio)
Purpose: Aggregate pageview measurement.
Category: Analytics — cookieless; no consent required under GDPR.
Current status: Not loaded until you accept analytics cookies. Injected only after you click "Accept"; never loaded if you decline.
4. Product analytics / heatmap (Growth-OS)
Provider: Growth-OS analytics (gos-34a3cd803c.practicalapps.studio)
Purpose: A heatmap / behavioural-analytics script that records aggregate interaction patterns (clicks, scroll depth, mouse movement) to help us improve the page layout. It may set cookies and/or use local storage to distinguish sessions.
Category: Analytics — cookieless; no consent required under GDPR.
Current status: Not loaded until you accept analytics cookies. The heatmap script (track/heatmap.js) is injected only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you decline, it is never loaded.
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Change cookie preferences" link in the page footer. You can also clear all browser cookies and localStorage via your browser settings.
To opt out of Umami analytics: click "Decline" in the cookie consent banner, or "Change cookie preferences" in the footer.
